On the tenth day of Christmas, my true love game to me... a bunch of apps:
Army Of Darkness Defense
Do you love Bruce Campbell, the Evil Dead series, and shooting things? Then this is the perfect game for you! Enjoy playing the role of Ash shooting down the Army of Darkness's minions all while he shouts out his trademark lines from the movie. But be warned, you will have to hustle in some of the later levels.

Comics
A great way to buy and read comic books on your iPad. They have a pretty decent library and routinely offer sales and deals.

Flipboard
If you have an iPad this is a must have. It is basically a gorgeous way to read your internet news. Facebook, Twitter, blogs, etc. get collected into Flipboard and are displayed in a gorgeous magazine style format. It's truly an excellent app. There's a new iPhone version too but I like the bigger visual.

Garden Panic HD
his defense game utilizes shooting plants to protect your strawberry patch. Think plants vs. zombies but with less undead. It is also surprisingly hard and completely addicting. If anyone gets past level 12 please email me and tell me how you did it.

MyNetDiary
This has been the best app for me to track what I'm eating, my blood pressure, my weight and my exercise in one place. Simultaneously fascinating and depressing, really.

Paper Flakes
A virtual paper snowflake maker. All the fun without having to clean up those obnoxious little bits of paper.

Puzzle Quest 2
It's like Bejeweled mixed with a role playing game, but less dorky.

Sneezies HD
I find this an incredibly lovely way to unwind in the evening. It doesn't get my blood pressure up like those damn Angry Birds.

Where's My Water?
A very cute puzzle game where players have to reroute water for a sewer alligator who's jonesing for a decent shower. Has playability and challenges but isn't too difficult for the whole family to enjoy.
