I stumbled across a bit of awesome news yesterday. In honor of the 20th anniversary of U2's album, Achtung Baby, (and I'm ignoring that big number because that just doesn't seem right as I loved this album in high school), a bunch of artists have gotten together to record AHK-toong BAY-bi Covered, a recreation of the album by various other artists. Artists like Nine Inch Nails, Snow Patrol, Patti Smith, Depeche Mode, Garbage, Jack White, The Killers, Damien Rice, The Fray, Glas Vegas, and Gavin Friday. The release also coincides with the 25th anniversary of Q Magazine, and as such, is available from their website, and various unnamed retail stores on October 26th. Yes, please.
