Billboard is reporting that David Lynch (Twin Peaks, Mulholland Drive) has teamed up with Duran Duran to produce a live webcast concert video as a part of the American Express "Unstaged" concert series.
What the what?
On March 23rd, the day that Duran Duran drops the physical version of All You Need Is Now, at 10 PM Eastern time the David Lynch directed concert footage of a Duran Duran show will air live from the Mayan Theatre in LA. You can watch live, or anytime for the following month at their special VEVO site.
The article gives more details on the AmEx series and the event itself. It actually sounds kind of cool. Incidentally, Duran Duran is playing at Coachella. Anyone going?
