Television's Winter 2011 line-up is chockfull of those shows we profess to hate, but somehow can't get enough of. MTV's third season (already?!) of its biggest hit, Jersey Shore premiers this Thursday, January 6th at 10/9c with a new castmate, Deena, and some, er, curious hijinks as witnessed by these screencaps provided by Jezebel.
Keeping with the "so bad it's good" theme, Oxygen's Bad Girls Club returns January 10th at 9/8c. Full disclosure: I've been shamelessly following this show for a couple years now. It's hard to explain the appeal except for pure, voyeuristic pleasure. It truly is a trainwreck of drinking, fighting, hair pulling and general debauchery. I expect nothing less for season six. However, what I'm really looking forward to is season three of Logo's breakout hit, RuPaul's Drag Race. Imagine America's Next Top Model, Project Runway, American Idol, and yes, a soupçon of Bad Girls Club rolled into a cheeky, kitschy ball of awesomness. The new season premiers Monday, January 24th on Logo. I can't confirm or deny this, but the first two season also aired on VH1 a day later, for those of us whose cable systems don't carry Logo. Grrr.
